645. The means must be considered and the end carefully contemplated.

On my previous post Mike left a comment that referenced some heated and misguided comments from a woman who had rather strong opinions about me objectifying my new black male friend. I deleted her comments some time ago (and I regret doing so), largely because the comments were bitter and angry. Obviously she is not a regular reader and doesn't understand me or my sense of humor.

The owner of an old movie theatre down the street from my apartment posts his political views on the large marquee.

An angry expression of impassioned views:
"Just because Bush & Cheney stole the election
doesn't mean they can't be impeached. Fire the liars!"

I've observed otherwise rational, kind, and intelligent people reduced to bitter angry self-righteous evil versions of themselves through the expression of political correctness. (Don't get me wrong; I've been guilty of this more times than I care to admit!) Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to express impassioned opinions with dignity and without inciting fear in the party to whom our views are expressed. Call me a crazy naive white woman, but I believe that in order to achieve peaceful world, we individuals must be peaceful and express our views, as well as listen to others, in a peaceful way.

Well, I'm done here. Somebody requested a clone of me to display on their cerdenza. The problem is that they want to display me standing, and I think my body looks better laying lengthwise on my side. (My sexy curves are more pronounced when I'm laying on my side.) I wonder how much it would cost me to post my argument on a marquee?
