644. A new bar has been set.

Remember the man from my yoga class? We've hung out several times since I objectified him in this post. (By the way, his response to my post? "Sounds like fun. Let me know if you still need a living sculpture.") Fun, funny, wise, intelligent, aware, engaging... Would I be breaking any laws if I clone him? I wouldn't be greedy about it. One would be plenty for me.

Most recently we went to San Francisco for a few hours. We lost track of time during a late lunch and our original destinations, the DeYoung Museum and the Conservatory of Flowers, were closed by the time we arrived.

Still, it was a parfait day.

is a great place for a casual meal and date.

The Conservatory of Flowers tagged by
an evil sidewalk chalk gang.
They wrote: "It's hot in there. I'm serious."

Monday was my last night at mediation. My teacher suggested we go play pool. I wasn't so lucky this time around. I lost in a big way. Thankfully, the bar had a Monday night special, Olympia beer and a shot of whiskey for $3.50.

The world's largest shot glass. A fine example of the
inverse relationship between quality and quantity.

On Sunday evening, I went to a crab feed:

and fresh crab from Bodega Bay.

Saturday was a wonderful day. I spent it with my 11 year old niece! She is a chip off of the old auntie tree, because not only do some of her favorite things include chocolate and books, but life is a series of comedic events for her, too. The two of us together for a day created enough material for several blog posts. Stay tuned.

And yet I'm still packing! Just a couple more days until my road trip to Louisville, Kentucky begins, followed by a flight out to Dublin, Ireland. I wonder what the weeks and months ahead have in store for me? I should stay tuned as well.
