790. No exaggeration: Moses would be impressed.

I just finished writing an email to my mother:

"I'm still waiting for summer. ... in fact, as I am typing this, the sky is getting more dark--just an hour ago it was raining, but there was some sun and thunder! I think it's going to downpour any second now. The torrential rains we get here would humble even Moses."

2 minutes later:

3 minutes later:

That isn't fog you're looking at! It's rain... and it's 2:30 in the afternoon!

That's it... I quit!

----------
Want a sunny day comparison photo? Of course you do! Here you go.

And that's how Siena gets you: it's all sunshine and blue skies when you first move here, and then once she has you, rain, horrible rain.

---------
Now.... thunder is rattling my windows and flashes of lightning are lighting up my room. Somebody save me. Please.

Noah, dear. Not Moses, who longed for rain, since his people spent forty years in the desert because he refused to ask for directions.

Maybe the weather has something to do with the date?
Friday...the 13th.

If you need rescuing, then I'm on my way!

Um...is that a left and then a right at the Atlantic Ocean?
:)

Ken: *blush*
See what too much rain does to me? If this rain continues much longer, instead of saying "oh mio dio," I'm going to start saying "oh my Desk." I'm sure Desk would be quite happy... first I confuse His men (the men of Desk) and then I get His name wrong.

Scot: Depends on where you are coming from, but that sounds about right. Thanks! I'll be waiting. Oh...Don't forget the rubber raft, chocolate and--most importantly--more chocolate. :)
