(4.8) 763. Changes.

I have many songs in iTunes that have no names or artists, songs I've collected from various people on various generic CDs. Tonight I heard for the first time (in my life, I think) Changes by Black Sabbath. What a gentle sweet song, but sad.

Today was sweet day. A very happy day. My friend who moved down with me to Siena from Brescia--Lisa, an English teacher from Down Under--and I rented bicycles. We headed south of Siena and rode about 6 km through the countryside. Not too long of a ride I guess, but there were plenty of ups and downs. I still feel the burn!

Tuscany is gorgeous. I took pictures, but they do no justice to the beauty I saw. But, here are some pictures for you just the same. Hope you enjoy them.

It rained on us on the way back home and I remembered how much I enjoyed the rain as a child. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I enjoy the rain again. After all, it's only water.

Scot: Glad you enjoyed them!

Roberto: Of course we remember you!!! How can we forget? We thought and talked about you on our bike ride. 176km??!! I guess we should have gotten up earlier, like a month earlier! We hope you and Daniele make it to Siena soon. (Your English is good, by the way!)

Val: Thank you for the comment here and on Flickr! It's nice to be posting again. Sweet internet access... oh, joy!

Holy freakin crap! You are so lucky!!!!

I hope I get to see things half as wonderful as that when I go to Greece. Can I move to Siena too? Do they have a university there where Rob can do his research?
