"No. Not merda. Monday."
"Si, capisco. Monday. Merda!"
I've decided to extend my stay here in Italy for another 9 days. Fabrizio wants to show me the camp spot where he took these pictures:
Also, his family has a vacation home "on the mountain" that he promised to show me. Additionally, I never made it down to Rome like I intended. Maybe with the few extra days, I'll be able to squeeze that in.
I admit it: I am not a power vacationer. It takes me a week to enjoy what most tourists can see in 1 day. I haven't even been to the top of the Eiffel yet, and I was in Paris for 40 days. I guess there is still next month.
I am a sloth. A happy little fuzzy sloth who thinks it's high time for her nap.
My friend Simone (hi, Simone!) from back home read my last post and then emailed me to ask if I was returning back to the states, and if so, to Kentucky. I didn't have an answer. I still don't. My sister tells me that I could easily get a job here in Italy teaching English. The thought is very appealing.

Nancy: I'm a couple of days late with this, but I've been thinking about you. Happy Birthday!

A teaching job in Italy?
Cool!

Hopefully they have some sort of Fundamentalist Christian History Museum of Italy there, or something, though, to replace the lovely experiences you could have in the one in KY.
...and, in the spirit of being a total jerk about a place I've never been to:
You're trying to decide between Kentucky and...Italy? Tough one.
Wow!
I know this is high on the Pro/Con list you're making, but consider that we have a much better chance of meeting in person if you choose Kentucky. Not that I don't plan on visiting Italy, it just seems to slip further and further into the future with each passing year.
Scot: We'll see!
Jeff: Tsk. ;) However, I am in a land where religion is taught in public schools. Maybe I won't be deprived after all.
MT:
:)
TH: Shouldn't it be the other way around? With each passing year, it comes closer?
