652. Holy Irish Cow!

Well, not really. I'm pretty sure this is just your run of the mill ordinary Irish cows. Catholic or Protestant, you ask? Sure. Ask me the tough questions! I honestly don't know. But here's my guess: she was in Galloway, so my money's on Catholic.

Dublin is a romantic city. I only say so because of all of the couples making out on the streets of Dublin. Venice and Paris are far more romantic, aesthetically speaking. (I'm a designer by trade, so that's my professional opinion.) Romance is contagious. I proposed to a toilet and it accepted! We are still deciding whether to get married in my country or his. I vote for a Golden Gate park wedding.

Yesterday was a long, long, long day. Did I mention that yesterday was a long day? Well, it was. Moral and I took a train and bus tour to the Cliffs of Moher.

The train ride was a great way to see the countryside of Ireland--that is after the fog lifted.

One of the stops included a stop of interest of a geological nature. Rocks. Lots of them at a place appropriately called the Burren. (Burren means "great rock" in Irish.) I personally didn't find it that interesting, even after I read up on it. Oh well.

An annoying generic guy (above) was following Moral and I everywhere! The Irish gents are a forward breed and they go to... interesting extremes to impress us lassies.

I tried to tell the annoying generic fellow that the castle was 90 degrees to his right, but he didn't listen.

Oops! I'm a cautious rebel. What can I say? The best views were past this ridiculously large, but polite, sign.

The annoying generic fellow followed us trouble makers, but he wasn't as prudent as Moral and I:

It's a long fall. A woman and her child fell to their death (in an apparent suicide) back in January, after a 35 year old woman fell to her death just a couple of months prior. Tragic.

Views are nice, but life is better.

A hatched roof cottage! This photo was taken on Bunratty Castle's grounds. Many hatched roofed buildings and establishments polka-dotted the many villages we passed through on our bus ride.

Great pictures. Looks like that was an interesting tour. Are you starting to pick up the accent?

Bunratty! Do they still do a big medieval feast? I was there, let's see, just 21 short years ago... *sigh*

Wonderful! And you get to see the warm spring air roll in. Eventually.

Momma Cat: Thanks! No, I haven't picked up the accent, although a couple of times I said "cheers!" for no good reason.

TH: I don't know if they do the feast. The castle was en route to the Cliffs of Moher, and we were there early in the day.

Nina: Boy, do I hope so!
