Moral Turpitude and I found an cafeteria that has wi-fi. My computer and I are very happy. However, this post has to be short! We are off to buy some fashionable black walking shoes for me, and Moral is craving more cheese. (She had cheese for breakfast.)
One fun bit before I go. There is a spire in the middle of O'Connell Street (renamed for Ireland's beloved liberator--he liberated Ireland with words rather than blood) that was erected in 2003. The spire is known by many names. Officially, it's called the Spire of Dublin, but it's also known as the Monument of Light. There are also many pet-names for the 150 meter tall stainless steel structure: Stilletto in the Ghetto, Erection in the Intersection, and Stiffy by Liffey. (Liffey is the name of a nearby river.)
I think I'm blushing now.
Pictures coming soon!
........
I asked the guy sitting next to me if they deep fry snicker bars here. They don't, he said, but he does rather enjoy the Mars ice cream bars in summertime. Moral said that they deep fry snickers candy bars in Las Vegas. Yes, I said, they would. Neel?

Interesting info.. Jay Leno must have got it wrong when he said that his Snickers were served that way in an Irish pub!
Dubliners do rock and some wear 'blue' shades! Yikes! If you listen carefully you may hear some of our 'Mawhinney' relatives turning over.
Can't wait for the pictures! Enjoy yourself!

Oops. Where's the first part go? That should be:
Ask him about Marathon bars, the name under which Snickers were marketed on that side of the pond until a few years ago.
"Erection in the Intersection" ^_^ that is very funny.
Oh those Irish.
You rang?
I've heard of deep-fried Snickers bars at the state fair, but not here. I'll keep my eyes peeled, though. Certainly Sin City can squeeze in a little gluttony.
