San Francisco put out a warning last month. Large bees have migrated from Texas (everything is bigger there) and have taken the city hostage.
The bee I photographed seemed harmless enough, but I didn't take any chances. I just pulled over, snapped the picture, and continued on my merry way. Might I suggest doing the same should a large bee cross your path?

yep, i can verify that is a texas bee. if approached, do not look the bee in the eye and offer it a breakfast taco or a margarita and it will be pacified and leave you alone.
