480. It's all about the Sparkle and pancakes.

This was my Word Verification for a comment I posted on Mike's blog today, in which he called me "a lowly furniture designer." You see, we are lemmings. I followed Neel into the Beta Bay, Mike, the razzle-dazzle computer guy followed me. ME! Woo-hoo! A smart computer guy followed me (me!) into the Beta abyss. What was he thinking?

Moving forward... Here is my definition for the Word Verification:

tugjrluz (tug jr's luz): JR-me, luz-Spanish for light. It's a command, people. Do I know what it means? No. But I'm guessing it means you better be nice to me, or else my light, my sparkle, will hunt you down.

(I saw a definition that included "heart strings" and tugging at them, but it didn't take. It just shriveled up and died. You writers know what I'm talking about, right?)

This BETA* Blogger is driving me nuts!

You probably think I'm just whining when I complain that I have to log in (most) every time I want to create a new post, or leave a comment.

And you'd be right. I am whining. But wouldn't you if you had to type in 34 keystrokes? Here is what 34 keystrokes looks like:

username:
12345678901234@678901234.678

password:
901234

Grrrrr!

My state counter ain't** working either. I feel frustrated AND unloved.

(Read Mike's post today regarding the loveworthiness and blog hits correlation. It's actually funny quite funny. I can't believe MIKE wrote it.***)

Love me, people. (Leave comments!) I'm desperate over here.

...................
*I don't know why I insist on typing BETA out in ALL CAPS. It just seems like the right thing to do, being that it's BETA and all. The BETA male/female isn't as manly/femalely as the alpa male/female. They need all the strokes they can get.

**This word came to me. I haven't heard it in a long time. (Thank God.)

***Mike is funny. I wasn't surprised. I'm just (unsuccessfully) trying to get even with him for calling me "lowly."

****Yesterday, I was going to write about pancakes. (1) I attempted to make gluten-free ones yesterday, but instead made gluten-free crepes. (2) It was the Urban word of the day yesterday. It means: To end a relationship suddenly; To break up with an individual without prior warning; To get dumped by someone and remain clueless to the reason. (3) Braise was the French word of the day yesterday. So, it means bread or dough--close enough! (4) I thought to myself "mind meld" when I read a quote on Tonya's blog yesterday that mentioned Pancake House. (5) I thought "double mind meld whammy" when T reference the pancake quote in an email to me.

*****I thought to myself, "Why stop at just 4 footnotes, when you can have 5!"

p.s. Please comment. I feel so lowly.

Is it possible that your browser has been accidentally instructed not to remember this password? Do you use Firefox? If so, go to Preferences->Privacy->Passwords, then click on the "View Saved Passwords" button and you can see the sites for which Firefox will Never Save A Password.

You can also check the Cookies tab under Privacy and see if Firefox is deliberately not allowing cookies for the blogger or blogspot domains.

X: Thank you! I'm sure you are, too.

Mariam: Thank you for the show of support. I hope Blugger (my new name for Beta Blogger since it is such a bugger) isn't causing you problems, too.

Tiny Hands: Hi! You live in TX, right?

Mike: Thank you for the tip! Regular blogger is in the Saved Passwords, but beta.blogger is not. I wonder if this could be the source of my frustration. I'll investigate further.
