I think of Frank Lloyd Wright when I come to this overpass at Grand Avenue in Oakland on my morning walks:
Why?
He liked to extend the roof down and past entrances. Here's a picture I took in Madison. I'm standing in front of the Monona Convention Center entrance and looking out towards the Capitol Building:

I think that says more about Wright being overrated -- his designs look like a highway overpass -- than about highway overpasses being beautiful, or even Wright-influenced.
