This is a piadina truck outside of the university (where I work). Everyday, when I see this truck, I am simultaneously reminded of Fog City Diner (must be the neon and the diner-esque feel of the thing) and the burrito trucks back home.
Friday was my first full day of real snow in my life (in which it fell from the sky for any extended amount of time--I was in Yosemite once when it snowed with my parents and an ex, but I think it stopped by the time we made it to our destination and parked the SUV.)
I say, if it has to be cold at least give me some snow! It is simply magical.
Yesterday I got another wonderful surprise: an outdoor ice rink has been set up here in Brescia in front of the Duomo Nuovo! I felt like a happy gleeful child who got just learned she got a brand new puppy when I saw it. Want to know a secret? I love ice rinks.
