796. Let's get bent.

I stumbled upon a spoonbender's website the other day. Did you know that you can take an online course to learn this skill? I'm not going to dock it, because I read a little bit about the teacher, James Twyman. His desire is to go beyond "simple" spoonbending and to teach that we can set out to do anything we want, as long as it is done with good intentions.

The only problem--a big problem, if you ask me--is that he is a bit of an elitist and this makes him a hypocrite.

He is neglecting at least 66% of the population! What about the knives and forks among us? Certainly we have the desire to be bent, too.

Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.

What truth?

There is no spoon.

There is no spoon?

Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

This James Twyman guy sounds like a pretentious twit.

ratpklf: Seriously, this was my word. Rat Pack Life. Definition? Being Judd Nelson.

Ken: good point! You must be a knife.

Neel: Are you quoting the Matrix or the twit. Oh, I guess it doesn't matter. According to spoon logic, they don't exist.
