730. Times like these.

Yesterday, I woke up to the slow version of "Times Like These" by the Foo Fighters. It was playing on the TV in the living room of my friends' house, where I'm staying. It was a good morning.

I leave for Paris Wednesday morning. I'm staying with a friend there for a couple of days, and I leave Sunday evening for my new home in Brescia, Italy.

The past 8 weeks have been interesting. One foot here, the other in Europe. As the date of my departure nears, I think this is how I would like the rest of my life to be: A place to call home in Italy, and a place to call home here in the states.

Doesn't that sound just lovely?

I thought so, too.

Times Like These by The Foo Fighters

I am a one way motorway
I'm the one that drives away
then follows you back home
I am a street light shining
I'm a wild light blinding bright
burning off alone

It's times like these you learn to live again
It's times like these you give and give again
It's times like these you learn to love again
It's times like these time and time again

I am a new day rising
I'm a brand new sky
to hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided:
Do I stay, or run away
and leave it all behind?

It's times like these you learn to live again
It's times like these you give and give again
It's times like these you learn to love again
It's times like these time and time again
