640. Hangin' with my peeps.

What have I been up to?

I've been hangin' with my peeps!

Hangin' with my peeps!
(I do realize that my bad pun most likely jeopardized my standing in this very scientifically conducted contest--what an honor to be selected!--but I'm up against one of my favorite peeps! If I lose, I don't really.)

.........
I sold my car today, and I was very sad.

However, life being the wonderful dichotomy thing it is, today was also a very lovely day. There was dancing, shaking, rain, singing, talking, eating, and exploring on the menu. Most of it took place in, out and about one of the most breath-taking buildings in San Francisco.

Singing in the rain.
What the doc ordered for a rainy day:
a new friend, an umbrella, and beautiful architecture.

What? This image doesn't ring a bell--you can't tell where I spent my day?

Hm.

Well, how about this picture:

Legion of Honor

Or, this one:

The Legion of Honor, San Francisco

.............

Sunday and Monday, had you been looking for me, you would've found me saying good-bye to one of my childhood friends, the Pacific Ocean:

The word "majestic" was inspired by a scene much like this.
The Pacific Ocean, Jenner, California

Simply majestic, isn't she?

Good-byes were also said to my human friends, but thinking about that now makes me sad. Perhaps I'll write about it later.

A freaky thing happened again while I was up in Jenner. I had another seagull stand-off! (I documented an earlier one back in November here.)

Does this only happen to me? I park my car on the side of the road to get out and soak in the ocean view. When I return to my car, one or two seagulls hold it hostage and me captive!

I don't get it. I think they are trying to tell me something, but I don't speak gull. Is bull close enough? I know a few people who speak that.

................

Now, this is trippy:

San Francisco, last Saturday night around midnight: a friend and I stumbled upon a man selling bacon-wrapped sausage sandwiches on a street dotted with hip clubs! The entrepreneur didn't speak English, but he seemed to enjoy our company as much as we enjoyed his.

Oh How Wonderful!

I hope that your trip to Ireland will be documented somehow in your blog so I can see the wild and crazy adventures you will soon have!

Bacon wrapped sausage sandwich sounds very very unhealthy, but very very yummy.
