624. Exquisite Perfection.

[Updated due to REALLY BAD sentence construction in the last paragraph!!!]

exquisite
Chopped liver next to a certain fellow yoga practitioner.

Being a creative person, I'm often curious and interested in what inspires other creatives, especially the Greats. In my Thursday yoga class I became aware of and felt an inkling about what inspired Da Vinci's famous Vitruvian Man and Michelangelo's David.

A black man, about 6' 5" tall with a muscular build, practices on Thursday. (Oh, how I wish he would grace the studio by coming to the Tuesday class as well!) His body is perfection, his attitude pleasant and serious. I knew he had to be a professional athlete, and my guess was, a offensive (as opposed to defensive--he's not a refrigerator) football player.

Today was the 3rd time he was in class with me, and it was confirmed: He is a Raider.

I have to say that he is the first man (in real life) that I lusted after not in a sexual sense*, but rather in a fine art sense.** I wonder how open he would be to being perched up on one of my sculpture stands? Maybe he'll be open if I promise to dust and feed him regularly, and take him out for long walks.

I'll ask him next Thursday and let you know what he says.

...........
* Well, maybe just a little.

**Hm... REALLY BAD SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION... Let's see if I can rephrase that in a better way, so that you all don't think I lust after every single man!

He is the first man I lusted after in the fine art sense. I'll just leave the sexual part out.

Just don't ask him why his team couldn't win a game to save their life.
