517. Turnips.

crunch crunch crunch

I'm on my morning walk and look down at my feet.

WHAT'S THIS?!?! PERFIDY!!! IT'S TREASON!!!

The leaves have started to abandon ship. We're slipping into fall.

And I thought of my sister. She lives in Italy. She called me up the other day: "Janelle, I want to live in an endless summer."

I'm an all season kind of girl. I don't like too much rain, though. I don't like too much sun either.

By the way, where is the freakin' fog? I miss it.

I had other thoughts on my walk. They escape me now. Perhaps more later.

I heart autumn. Where can we find a perpetual autumn? Show me, and I'm so there. (I'll give you all of my candy. I quit it.)

Or what?

I mean, so's your face.

Perfidy. That's a super good word.

My favorite are those little clumps of low lying fog. And you don't really notice them unless you're driving around at night, and all of a sudden, you're in a horror movie. And then it's gone. And then back. I love it.

Mike, thanks! (BTW, have you seen Mr. Verb's post? I used the word "super" today, and thought of it. Super freaky!)

SG: I love that kind of fog, too. I've been really missing the gloomy high fog lately. Does WI get high fog? It's reminiscent of an overcast day.

I'm a big fan of fall, too.

I think maybe... At any rate, I know what you're talking about, because Kentucky would get it often in the mornings when it was cooler, and then it would burn off when the sun got up.

Yup, that's the kind of fog I missed. It has since returned. Yippee!
