385. Is Fe-Man-Cycle a better name?

This 55 Fiction Friday is for the winner of a little contest I threw into a post a few days ago. Sara (with no "h", people!) correctly identified the location of the picture I took below. It's hanging in Barriques Coffee Trader's café in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin. (Does anybody know what that guy is doing? My guess is he's cultivating cheese curds. Then again, everything is cheese curds to me. Cheese curds... drool.)

Congratulations, Sara. I hope you like my 55. Even if you don't, say you do. I'm the sensitive type.

55 Fiction Friday: Fun with Felines and their Friends

Douglas Whitterscrabble's latest invention is almost ready. Sara can hardly wait. Monty's ready, too. He's had his check-up and a whiskers to tail groom. The test copilot needs to be healthy (even if healthy-fat) and look sharp for the Hu-Line-cycle premier test drive. It's a bicycle: human powered in front, feline powered in back.

This is so unfair. Your contest was biased towards people in Wisconsin (of all the crazy places!). I never had a fair shot to be the star of your 55.

Mike: *sigh* I guess you missed this prize the first time I offered it up. It wasn't even location-specific. Don't worry, everybody missed it. The post had way too many words, much like this comment. Enter here! If you'd rather not suffer my too-long diatribe, go to the bottom of the post. :)

clbprhi ("clob-per hi!"): What Lucy from the Peanuts shouts in her Kung-Fu class when clobbering other classmates. Such a drama-queen!

Ooo.. a second chance! (I guess it's in the air. 2nd chance for Mike, 2nd chance for me with this fun WV.):

epirk (also e-pirk, eperk, or e-perk): Kind of like a caffeine induced perk, but this one is induced by getting an unexpected and fantastic email.

Janelle! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 55 story! Thanks so much!

Mike: Too bad, so sad. Maybe you need to get out of SF once in a while.

Sara: I'm glad you liked it!

I agree, Mike does need to get out more.
