377. Pictures.

Tart and McMeatie, food jokes aside...for now, both requested more pictures.

FINE!!! At the risk of running late to meet up with a buddy from way back when, I will comply.

:)

Sleep Goblin, Moral Turpitude, and I went to Taliesin. This was Frank Lloyd Wright's home. And, well, I'm here to post pictures and not gab. I'll gab later about Wright, his wife, his lover (who was brutally murdered, but not by Wright), and other interesting-at-least-to-me stuff.

Pictures:

This isn't Taliesin, but property across the street.

Taliesin
Waterfall on Taliesin property, visible from the road.

And, I have to go!

But, check out this picture. I'll tell you more about it later. I don't want to be late:

I've stood in that exact spot! I just had a crappy camera phone with me though. (Chicago, right?)

We love visuals. That bottom one is one of my favorites. Sooo artsy. ; )

Q&A please now. How did U meet your cheesehead bloggy friends? Would love a good bedtime story, natch. Please share how U found them in bloggyville.

Smooch,

MT: It was a fun day! Let's call the driving that accompanies road-side picture taking "Simon Says" driving. Next time we'll follow "Simon Says" rules.

When am I coming back? I wish I could say soon. I do hear Goblin wedding bells...

:)

How are the plans coming along for a summer blog gathering reunion? I miss everybody.

OM: I was thinking the same thing. OK, I will! Your WV makes me want to take a relaxation sabbatical.

Mike: So that's who I was standing on. I thought the mug looked familiar. Chicago, yes. Victory Park.

SG: Thanks! I liked your picture of it, too.

Jocelyn: Great question. Future post!

Nice photos. Every summer I think that I will finally make it to Taliesin and every summer passes by without any effort whatsoever on my part to do so. I hope I do it before I leave Wisconsin.

It's kind of like when my family lived in DC -- once weI knew we would be moving out of state, we made a point of reserving our weekends for all the long-neglected sightseeing we'd never gotten to.

I know what you mean, Tonya. I'm the same way. I have yet to visit some of SF's more famous landmarks like Coit Tower.
