327. Reading.

The first week was interesting. Fear of the unknown and boredom kept me entertained.

Now I'm settling into a comfortable zone. I feel relaxed and happy. I'm conquering my pile of half-read books, too.

For the first time in 11 years, when I come home from work, I actually feel like I did. (One of the downsides of living with your business partner: it's very difficult not to take work home with you.)

-----------

R treated me to dinner the other night. We went to the same Irish pub where the waitress recognized me as "red flannel hash." I don't know how she did it, but this time she knew my name. She wasn't even my waitress the past several times I've been to Rick and Ann's, and I wasn't even aware that the wait staff knew the customers' names. Normally, I'd be a little freaked, but she was sweet.
