Large chocolate hollow eggs are the traditional item given to children here in Italy for Easter, or Pasqua.
I do believe that I have discovered the source of America's appetite for violence. American kids grow up with the evil satisfaction of biting off chocolate Easter bunny's ears. European kids, at least those here in Italy, break open chocolate eggs. Boring, yes, but definitely less barbaric.
My plan for eventual world peace: outlaw chocolate Easter bunnies.
